PSP sk3n3 drama hits new emu-sk3n3 lows
That bastard dark_alex apparently didn't do his "quitting" after-all, as it has been revealed that dark_alex is actually Team M33................blahblahblag

I really don't care in all honesty about this, but then the sk3n3 has it's news posters acting all stupid about it.  Thanks c0nj, thanks DCEmu's bandit (freaking accidentally double posted the thing out of apparent importance).

I like how he pulled a fast one over on alot of these PSP emu-folk, yet they still love the guy.
It is sooooo sweet and pretty, in it's so sweet and pretty way :D

Mother MAME Dev always knows best.
Haze has decided to publicly embarrass a new emulator author today, all because he released a closed source Neo-Geo emulator, which MAME and others already emulate.

I remember once upon a time when this MAME was a redundent two-piece pony which only emulated common arcade classics like Pac Man - did we really need another Pac Man emulator in 1997??  What about all those other emulators MAME out-emulated to death in the last 10 years??

Talk about a MAME Dev coder representing MAME Dev's own historical irony.

EmuHQ visitors behaving badly?
Hawq has put his rare EmuHQ visitors on notice today, as he for some reason added some strange link to remind visitors to use the forums with his pointless Zinc news.  I didn't get anything new out of it, did you??

Hawq, these are visitors.
If you literally preach for them to use your forums, your forums are automatically viewed as lame.

I miss the old primary EmuHQ guys (PeterD & BWB), they understood how to act cool about running EmuHQ.
 

EMU-SK3N3 coder tries to overcome negative judgement.
Here is a doozy of a story, EFX - an NES coder making a homebrew NES/Famicom action/adventure game called "Neotoxin", very famously appearing @ your local RG forums, pulled off one of the stupidest Youtube emu-related moves ever.

EFX, dude.
First mistake don't make the first freaking positive comment about your damn product ever.
Second mistake, don't make a positive comment about it @ the very forum of media you are promoting it with.

Idiocy, @ least that Grand Theftendo guy had more class about his project, before he disappeared.
This project has no real credibility behind it now.  All is forever lost =(

I would be surprised, but Lev has let this network of his really go down the tube over the last few years.  Apparently, trying to sell old N64 accessories in the year 2007 isn't profittable anymore - but we all are aware of that.

VGBA becomes an easy download?

Yes, we can all download VGBA 3.4 now Hawq ;)

Apparently those new VGBA 3.4 links for DOS/Windows which send us users to buy the thing is a mirage.  Marat literally printing that it will be emailed to you after purchase must be a mistake on Marat's part.

Even that Robert guy @ 1Emulation got this right, 1Emulation.  Think about it :P
 

Emulator author now losing control of his emulator???
Shenanigans in the sk3n3 continue, as wraggster, Hawq, and some guy going by Cid2Mizard (from Nintendomax.com) have decided to start controlling Dwedit's PocketNES binary releases by giving them made up titles.

This is outstanding, Dwedit keeps referring to his very builds as "WIP build" or "test version", and it means absolutely nothing.  Instead they are now being known as exciting X Alpha crap.  Is this title supposed to sound stupid and sci-fiish???  Was it intentional?

The emulation sk3n3 stepped up when Dwedit decided to have a real life over the last few days ;)

Even More PocketNES strangeness
The Hawq is still lovin' it up with some Gameboy/ Gameboy Color emulator for the GBA and DS.

So, this time Hawq actually read part of the thread - yet he still thinks it is not an NES/Famicom emulator.

c0njurer's on-going personal vendetta against Sony's firmware continued today, as the tale now involves his personalized attack against Sony's firmware gringos.

c0njurer, nobody cares.

Get a hobby, get a girlfriend.  I don`t care, the guy on the street doesn`t care.  My bros. over @ Hollywood don`t care.  The vast majority of the world simply doesn't care.

Sheeesh, predictable corporate moves against piracy which is defeated is nothing worth gloating over.

The Hawq has completed one of the greatest lmaos in weeks today, with this surprisingly in-accurate and confusing piece.
Part II
The fun never ended as even his title was wrong as well.

I wish I could give this guy even some credit here, but PocketNES has been around to long.  A NES emulator being a Gameboy/Gameboy Color emulator for the GBA & DS with the NES sticking right in it's name?

Get the damn description right next time, sheesh, @ least get the simple build date right.

c0njy old boy has topped himself once again.  In his quest to out-do his months old Kobe Bryant Fans affiliation, he now has used the big bad The Legend of Zelda: Orcania of Time to catch your eye, and tickle your soul.

Maybe I am the only one here, but isn't c0njurer just trying to be Captain obvious here??  The PSP can run PlayStation games, are you honestly supposed to now be surprised that it can emulate an Nintendo 64?

Wraggster ol' man has done it again!!  Innovation became the word today as a new hire has posted a DCemu classified ad.

See, this is the type of stuff that will draw 1Emulation it's hits.  Not uzplayer-like talk shows, or crazy Prophet-like HanaHo Arcade stick promos.  Learn from the best, learn from Wraggster :P

YAY! The 0ld-sk00l emu-sk3n3 gets used in new hilarious ways!!!
In new news, apparently scandel is breaking out involving rom translation/hackers - as a fancy NES reproduction site has been spotted using the works of fiction created by others for outright profit.

The fascination begins with statements like this:

Actually that is ironic, considering that over 90% of the images used on that very website actually are copyright infringement.  Just last year I remember the whole Geometry Wars debacle involving a PC clone, PC clone became no more as the PC version was released earlier this year.  This is actually very serious.

Somebody seriously knows absolutely nothing about intellectual property and these copyright laws he tries to protect himself under.  Good job on misinformation their shieck.

That now is technially very much a lie.  Examples:

- Final Fantasy II & III have been re-released numerous times on numerous platforms in this territory.

- Sega has been re-releasing Altered Beast numerous times on numerous platforms since the year 2000 (and who plays crappy Famicom Altered Beast when you can play crappy Master System Altered Beast in this region?).

- Hit the Ice has appeared in the region before, just not the NES.

- Robocop vs. Termintor appeared on other platforms.

- Super Mario Bros. 2 was released on the SNES All-Stars pack.

- Ys = Master System

- Ys III = SNES & Genesis

Just because some of them were not released on the NES does not mean they were never released.  Thanks for creating a false reality on the naive customers.  If I am one of those numerous IP owners I want my royalty checks right about NOW.

 

To think, if this were simply being done underground, like it is supposed to be, nobody would have a legitimate complaint here.
