Emulation site changes emu-direction!!!
Emulators Unlimited has apparently changed direction, and will no longer be posting about valuable emulation news -> Instead all news has been replaced with positive uppers @ Emulators Unlimited, during the holidays.

Merry Christmas, Marty gets a new scheme!
Marty is up to another new money making scheme with one of his emulators this year.  Now he wants YOU to donate $2.50 USD for the latest version of NO$GBA.

This so tops the time Marty made a key for NO$GBA, and then publicly complained about hackers bypassing it.  While I'm @ it, what the hell is Cronos smoking???


I want some of that.

ZX No$GBA Site?  Free GBA emulator?  I have to pay two freaking fitty, for a measly copy of this emulator right now.

1Emulation is up to some emu-shenanigans, now literally trying to fix their preciously lame Awards Competition, so that only some visitor that they are familiar with, can only win their measly $50 USD.

Clearly the intent is to give the reward to someone they know, and not actually honor their statement to the word.  1Emulation emu-shenanigans!!!!

Crippled emulator download gets headlines, true story ignored.
Everyone in the sk3n3 is now reporting about some googly-eyed crippled Magic Engine for download, all but ignoring the bigger news that Xavier Lambercy won an actual Dynastic Hero CD-ROM, while Stefan Gustafsson got a free registered version of ME.

It is just a new version of Magic Engine, for Mac, who cares.  Those get released once every six months.  Xavier and Stefan won, give them props, it happened on the same day for crying out loud.  No respect, no respect I say.
 

Shallow emulation site-ops.  Everything has to be about their Magic Engine. Oh no we didn't report about the new ME, the Michel's will apparently get mad @ us.  The wrath, the mighty wrath!!!

It looks like RocLobsta is looking to stay in the UK  as he posted a desperate plea to get MAMEWorld.net mo' sponsors.

Sheesh, Roc man, Where is Nicola and Haze when you need them.  Shouldn't MAME`s own be on their promoting MAME World by paying for an actual banner ad to MAME.net?

C'mon, how do the MAME Devs sleep @ night when poor GuruChoc wastes his $1000s on shipping costs every year.  Just to dump some of their precious PCB dumps, probably just some more precious Hentai knowing MAME Dev.  MAME Dev should step up for MAME World.

So, some guy apparently returned to news posting @ VGN yesterday.  I don't know how it is not simply c0njy posting away though, instead of this apparent guy.  Perhaps c0njy got himself a 2nd alias, just for show??

I don't know.  Shouldn't c0njy have made some sort of name identifier variable for his news posts by now?  Everyone is going to be lost, since they won't know who is actually doing the real leg work :P

Hard core Rikki finally learns about beta software!!
It took everybody's NGEmu buddy, Hard core Rikki, one whole month, but he finally has understood what beta emulator software is all about.  Thanks for sharing dude, NGEmu's emu noobs finally are learning about the sk3n3, that's like so cute n' cool.

Wizard doesn't know what he is posting about
Oh me, 1Emulation's Wizard decided to try and be a know it all today by trying to associate only Blizzard to the upcoming merger with Activision, Inc.  Forming the new opponent Activision Blizzard, to fend off the EA borg - scary.

Dude.  Activision is merging with Vivendi Universal Games, not Blizzard, Inc.,  Blizzard is just a VUG subsidiary (which means VUG is still the only one merging with Activision).  Who cares if their subsidiary is also putting money into it, VUG and Activision are the real players in the deal.

The point of putting Blizzard's name on the new company is for this thing called marketing (name recognition), Blizzard is a well known brand, Vivendi Universal is always a consumer question of what is that brand exactly?  Did you expect the VUG side to approve the ridiculous non-user friendly name of something dumb, like Activision Vivendi Universal?

Anyway:

VUG + Activision = RIGHT
Blizzard + Activision = WRONG

Get your business knowledge right next time, business running wannabe newbies now @ 1Emu.  What is this world of ours coming to Swampy my boy?  What, I ask?

EMU-LMAO's LAST MONTH NEWS....
Apparently I didn't notice the full extent of what Jeff Minter's lil' rants about the XBLA Frogger outselling his precious XBLA Space Giraffe last week were.

Seriously, if Jeff Minter really thought it was going to be that easy to sell new IPs on an online downloadable service he really is out of the freaking loop with the gaming industry.

New games, actually beating out single game MAME wrappers on XBLA what a dumb idea @ this point.......MAME is everything right now......except with the Nintendo Virtual Console and PlayStation Store and Steam.  All of which are based around old software downloads.
